ADP PAPERS

The pattern of the interview is as follows
1.Written test
2.Two techinal interviews and
3.One HR

WRITTEN TEST
:(paper 1)
It contains 4 sections

SECTION A: Verbal and Quantitative combined (40 questions 20 minutes)


QUANTITATIVE :questions on
-> profit and loss (around 3 to 4 questions)
-> boat and streams
-> Alligations or Mixtures
-> some on numbers ... quotient and remainder problems etc...


VERBAL:
10 analogies and 10 sentence completion questions

From barrons and big book

SECTION B: Technical section (20 questions 30 minutes)
Around 15 to 18 questions are from C or may C++, and other related to data base concepts
book name: "test ur c skills, pointers in C"
Most of the questions are related pointers.

SECTION C: (5 Questions, 20 minutes)
In this section a big programme of around 2 to 3 pages was given and related to the programe 5 questions wil be given.
SECTION D:(one passage, 10 minutes) write a passage on the topic given
Eg Topic: "My few favourite things"


(paper 2)Written:
1. Aptitude consists of 20marks
2. Tech all C programs for 20 marks
3. 5 puzzles C h e ta naS
4. Essay Writing for 10mins topic is "India in Future"
for aptitude, time&work,time&distance, profit&loss & 2 puzzles each for 5marks
tech small programs on structures, unions, printf()

(paper 3)Written:
Section A
it has totally 40 questions. time 20 minutes.
10 questions-analogies
10 questions-fill up the blanks

remaining 20 questions from maths apptitude.. ...most of the them are profit-loss, percentages, time-distance/ work and numbers.



Section B
20 questions to answer in 30 minutes.
all question are based on C programming...the questions are something like find the output of the program, compilation errors, find which line of the given program has an error.
Section C
a long C program which is about 2-1/2 pages long and it has only 5 questions to answer in 10 minutes..

Section D
duration 10 minutes....
an essay of 100 words has to be written on the given topic. topic: "My few favourite things" .....
topic "Same as the last"...

->design a system which counts the number of people coming to the office at different times say before 9'0clock, in between 9 and 10, and after 10'clock using either an electrical, electronics, mechanical systems or any computer language

->How do you define CONSTANT in C?
->Define VARIABLE?
->Function calling procedures? and their differences? Why should one go for Call by Refrnce?
->Difference btwn STRUCTURE and UNION?
